John needs a dog...

Jaq is oh so modest.

...fo' sho'. It is a good thing we are moving into a house and able to get a dog before tooooooo long, because my CAT know knows and does the following on command:

1- sit
2- sit pretty/dance
3- lie down
4- "give me your paw"

..apparently the next command is to give the other paw. Then roll over. A cat. For real.

Justine – (July 28, 2009 at 8:39 PM): Your cat looks just like mine! :) Our cat thinks he's a dog too! He rolls over, he loves having his belly rubbed, he chases his tail, and he loves playing in water! Ha!
Samantha – (July 28, 2009 at 8:45 PM): Oh my gosh! Don't even get me started on the water! He purposely drops his toys in the water bowl just so he can dig them out!

He loves to just splash around in our water glasses & would much prefer to drink out of that than his bowl. Too bad he always pulls on the edge of the glass and dumps the water all over!
Meredith – (July 28, 2009 at 8:53 PM): I wish we could train our cat! We are forever putting our cat in "timeout" in the bathroom, because she totally doesn't listen when we tell her "no". She just looks at us, cocks her head as if to say "Make Me", and does it again.
Samantha – (July 28, 2009 at 9:00 PM): Ugh- we can't put our in the bathroom for time-out! He licks the tub water & his little sensitive belly makes him puke! Everytime!

For the most part he now listens to "no" and "Jaq come here".
